Services
If you’re scheduling directly through me, sessions are available on a private pay basis. My standard rate is $120 per hour, with a sliding scale option available down to $75 depending on financial need.
For in-person sessions held through the affiliated practices I work with, my rate is $150 per hour to account for travel time and related expenses.
I’m also able to accept insurance for both virtual and in-person sessions when scheduled through my affiliated practices.

What are the benefits of working directly with Cody?
Paying privately allows us to focus entirely on your needs, without the restrictions that often come with insurance. Working together directly means your therapy is guided by what’s best for you—not by what an insurance company will approve. Your records aren’t shared with insurance providers or added to your medical file.

Why does Cody accept cash pay only?
Although I’m independently licensed and run my own practice, state regulations require that I continue working under the guidance of a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor for a period of time. Because of this, most insurance companies don’t yet recognize me as an in-network provider. Until that requirement is complete, I’m only able to accept private (cash) payments for sessions. This allows us to focus fully on your goals without the limitations or paperwork that often come with insurance.

How is Cody able to accept insurance through the affiliated practices?
By working under a fully licensed therapist and/or a licensed supervisor I am able to accept insurance.

What insurance does Cody accept through the affiliated practices?
I accept Aetna through Carrera Counseling. I accept (almost) all other insurance companies through Serenity Ranch Wellness, including Aetna.
